Dr. Kroeker is a Naturopathic Doctor. She graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM), a 4-year medical program focused on training practitioners to treat the underlying cause of disease in an individual manner. The basis of the program focuses on basic medical sciences such as biochemistry, anatomy, physiology, and pathology. Building on this foundation, treatment modalities are taught which include botanical medicine, traditional Chinese medicine, and acupuncture, nutrition, lifestyle/physical counselling and therapy, etc. During her training, Dr. Kroeker completed a year-long clinical internship at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic in Toronto as well as a rotation at the Brampton Civic Naturopathic Clinic within the Brampton Civic Hospital.
Prior to being accepted into the Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine program at CCNM, Dr. Kroeker received a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutritional Sciences from the University of Manitoba.
Aside from clinical practice, Dr. Kroeker is an active and curious individual who is always on the search for new things to learn. This curiosity has led her to try numerous sports. Most recently Dr. Kroeker completed cycling across Canada and is now focusing on rowing with the Winnipeg Rowing Club. As well as sports and science Dr. Kroeker enjoys music, writing, and art. “I don’t have just ONE sole passion in life. Instead, I choose to take my passion FOR life into everything I do.”
